Gatineau Park

Trails Skied: #1, #30, #4, #14, #31, #11, Glide Wax: , Grip Wax:

Not much to say today except warm & slow describes this short outing. Started from P7=>#30=>#1=>#11=>#1=>#14=>#4=>#1=>#31=>#30=>P7. Still some debris (leaves) on most of the trails, at one point one of my poles sunk half way down.

I made a short detour of Ridge road to try out a backcountry trail #11, the part that starts at the pond, I climbed those 2 horrendous hills, the crust is no more for the time being so it would be safe to go down the hills and I came out at the crossing near #17 junction.

According to tomorrow"s weather rain the temperature is expected to drop later in the afternoon, so hopefully some grooming thursday overnight or early friday morning. Looking good for friday and saturday around the zero mark.
