Gatineau Park

Trails Skied: Gatineau Pkwy , North Loop, Glide Wax: , Grip Wax:

A little hair of the dog, just grabbed a short ski while the weather was so beautiful this morning.

There were quite a few new skiers and several groups of retirees as well. This is a popular spot even on weekdays.

It was certainly worth going out to ski. That said, the classic tracks were starting to get a bit icy in places, quite worn and generally just a little bit shallow, but that's to be expected after the bus loads of skiers (literally) who were out on the long weekend. Crossing over towards Penguin it had been freshly groomed on one side.

If you go classic, use your very best binder, you will need it.
