Gatineau Park

Trails Skied: #24, #40, #1 (blue), Glide Wax: , Grip Wax:

Today was my first trip out to the Fire Tower, I couldnt have picked a better day.Nice and sunny, warm, great conditions. My route was P12=>#40=>#24=>#1=>Fire Tower=> back the same route, with a brief stop at McKinstry chalet.

Everything was nicely groomed, fresh classic tracks, you can see on my last pic how nice it was. There was evidence of tracks on old #10, probably some hikers too. Very quiet in this area today, with the races this morning not much traffic, only met a dozen skiers today on my way up there and back. The downhills were fast but easy to control your speed.
