Gatineau Park

Trails Skied: #1, #30, #4, #31, #11, Glide Wax: , Grip Wax:

Another mild and snowy afternoon, started from P7=>#30=>#1=>#4=>#9 (100 meters)=> Fortune lake old #13 =>Keogan chalet=>#11=>#1=>#31=>#30=>P7. A fresh layer of snow a couple of cm had fallen and it was still snowing when I left at 5 pm. No fresh grooming and the snow was slightly sticky so conditions were slower then yesterday and monday.

That being said decided to test out trail #11 , the short part behind Keogan going up what they call Hell's gate hill, I posted some pics what a wicked hill, and I went up it, the next big climb had a big stump on the side of the trail, the bottom of that hill has a big dip at the bottom that sort of shoots you back up.

Whenever I havent been on a hill, for the first time I always like to do more climbing to test it out just in case I wanna go down it later, see what I'm getting into. Hopefully we get more of snow and less of the rain , in y=the next day or so.
