Gatineau Park

Trails Skied: #1, #30, #3, #4, #32, #12, Glide Wax: , Grip Wax:

Another mild day out there. My route from P7=>#30=>#1=>#4=>#32 black=>Fortune lake=> #3=>#12=> short stop at Shilly Shally=>#1=>#30=>P7. Ridge road and Burma recent grooming in good shape fast. My trek on #32 black from the shooting range is in terrible shape , a ski-doo was over it a while ago its bumpy, hard, icy, so i soon cut over to fortune lake where there were some tracks from some skiers.

Trail #12 that runs from Burma to Shilly Shally was also in rough shape, hard packed, with crusty layer on the edges of the trail, so like Ron mentioned about some of the backcountry trails yesterday they are doable but not inviting. We really need more snow on these smaller trails. Also recommended for these trails are the poles with the big baskets on them.
