Gatineau Park

Trails Skied: #50, #55 (green - shared), #55 (green - alternative), #55 (blue - alternative), Glide Wax: , Grip Wax:

Best ski in years - the classic only trails were heavenly, and not much to add, other than photos, to what has already been reported.

Interestingly, a few km of 50 were incredibly slow, particularly near Herridge, and many of the usual downhill tracks were "missing". These downhills were painfully slow, and reminiscent of Spring skiing. I wondered if the grooming had simply been pressed on top of Friday's ice. Would this explain the slowness?

Anyway, it was a gorgeous ski day, one to remember for years.
